HaydnNUFC Posted Monday at 21:40 Share Posted Monday at 21:40 If we can get another favour from Wolves for when they go to Fulham on Friday, win this and I'm fairly confident of safety tbh. Wilson should be back, ASM and Almiron with some minutes in the tank, best chance of a win until Sheff Utd at home imo. Beat them relatively comfortably at SJP, need to do the same again. Let's see if the players can put two respectable performances together back to back. Doubt it, like.
Whitley mag Posted Monday at 22:19 Share Posted Monday at 22:19 (edited) This would be my team but would be harsh on Joelinton after weekend. Think this will be a physical battle and we’ll need to defend well, which makes me unsure about wing backs. Would be half tempted to play Clark and bring Manquillo and Dummett in at wing back. But I’ll stick with this, Burnley don’t score loads and if we can get a couple we should at least get a point. Fantail Breeze Posted Monday at 22:23 Share Posted Monday at 22:23 1-0 or 2-1 defeat with a similar performance to the Brighton match. Fulham to beat Wolves.
AyeDubbleYoo Posted Monday at 22:50 Share Posted Monday at 22:50 We’ll win if we play as well as against Spurs and pick the right players. But sadly there’s no guarantee of either.
nbthree3 Posted Monday at 23:19 Share Posted Monday at 23:19 We're wildly inconsistent as a team, praying for a miracle that we overcome the bare minimum of expectations and try like last game but I'm never hopeful

It's mad how easy it should be to simply just survive; like we really shouldn't have to do much at all. It's possible to become a bit desensitised to the state of it all - cos you just get so used to incompetence - but it really would be a remarkable feat of shitness for us to go down. You've got an appalling bottom three; rubbish like Palace and Burnley, faltering sides who've lost their best players like Wolves, relegationy sides like Brighton who play alright but can't score... yet us, with all our talent, are barely keeping our heads above water. It should be a doddle. Bruce really has done a staggeringly shit job. Such a bad manager. Anyway, I can never predict our games. We could get battered like the Brighton game, or we could stay in the game long enough to sneak a point or even three. Either way we'll be rubbish and I'll be miserable. 1-1 seems like a pretty plausible result.
Dancing Brave Posted Tuesday at 00:52 Share Posted Tuesday at 00:52 Once again we have to rely on Fulham not winning because we can not rely on our incompetent fraud of a manager being able to manage properly.
Candi_Hills Posted Tuesday at 01:57 Share Posted Tuesday at 01:57 Jeff Hendrick will show them what they haven’t been missing with an exhibition finger-up-arse performance. 2-0 Burnley
GWN Posted Tuesday at 03:09 Share Posted Tuesday at 03:09 Burnley are a strong working team, our mindset will depend on Fridays Fulham game, this will determine Bruce team talk as a loss for Fulham and no doubt Bruce will go for a point. Anyway , impossible to call, play JL , I’m going 5-0 Burnley .
HaydnNUFC Posted Tuesday at 04:10 Author Share Posted Tuesday at 04:10 Think he'll go with the same team tbh. Maybe bring Wilson in for Gayle but I don't think he'll change it.
bowlingcrofty Posted Tuesday at 05:51 Share Posted Tuesday at 05:51 Same team as Spurs because “no one deserves to be dropped”. No thought about how we’re playing an opposition with a completely different style. 1-0 down early doors. Burnley to then miss a hatful of chances. We’ll bring on ASM and Wilson and look slightly less shit but concede a second in the last 10 mins. 2-0 defeat. Fulham to draw 1-1 with Wolves and bacon survives another week. Optimistic Nut Posted Tuesday at 06:08 Share Posted Tuesday at 06:08 That sounds awfully familiar but nailed on.
jackyboy Posted Tuesday at 08:15 Share Posted Tuesday at 08:15 Burnley won't be pushovers like Spurs. It will be a battle. There is a possibility that both teams will be happy to play for the draw
St1pe Posted Tuesday at 09:02 Share Posted Tuesday at 09:02 Hopefully Burnley have one of those games where they look way off Premier League standard. I think we’ll win but I also think relegation will come down to who wins out of us and Fulham this weekend. If either of us fail to win it’s hard to see which teams we could get 3 points from if not for this weekend. Gonna go for 0-2. Wilson with the goals on his return.
Smal Posted Tuesday at 10:27 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:27 We lose to Bunley Fulham beat Wolverhampton Bottom 3 for us Spoiler Love a haiku
Colos Short and Curlies Posted Tuesday at 10:49 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:49 Looking at Burnley's fixtures they are in real trouble if we win. A six pointer away at Fulham and then last game at Sheff Utd the only realistic chances of a win. I can also only see Sheff Utd being the best chance for Brighton to pick up another 3 points. It really is going to be who is the least shit of the shittest group staying up
joeyt Posted Tuesday at 10:50 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:50 1-0 to them with Wood from a header Think Dubravka has had some problems from corners at Turf Moor previously
andyc35i Posted Tuesday at 12:22 Share Posted Tuesday at 12:22 Wolves losing to Fulham will have them looking over their shoulders. I mean they probably have enough points with 35, but surely they wouldn’t want that gap closing given the form they’re in
Lazarus Posted Tuesday at 13:05 Share Posted Tuesday at 13:05 I think this was the game that i predicted we would get 3 points from. The ONLY game.
Whitley mag Posted Tuesday at 13:05 Share Posted Tuesday at 13:05 (edited) Us beating Burnley also has the knock on effect of keeping them honest when they travel to Fulham. I’m struggling to see us beating them, but dragging them back into the mix would be massive. Edited Tuesday at 13:06 by Whitley mag

jackyboy Posted Tuesday at 14:21 Share Posted Tuesday at 14:21 I agree with you there. Bruce has already declared his point a game strategy. It's a pity that he didn't factor in the fact that you get 0 points when you lose
Northerngimp Posted Tuesday at 14:23 Share Posted Tuesday at 14:23 We will pick up a point at best.

joeyt Posted Tuesday at 14:53 Share Posted Tuesday at 14:53 Can't remember who we had as manager but I remember playing Fulham when they were already down and we put in a classic Newcastle performance and lost 1-0 to a Dejagah goal
