1 in 4 saying they think the club is well ran and happy to have Bruce here next year ffs.

From one walrus thread to another...

Looks like a flawed survey - minimum possible score of 20%. So they asked people to rate from 1-5 so if everyone scored us as a 1 (lowest) we would still score 20%

It still means some divvies answered slightly more positively than rock-bottom, mind.

Aye, was refreshing if depressing to listen to something different about how shit the club is. They probably don't have one but I'd love to see an organisational structure get made public so it became common knowledge how many gaps there are and how little the club does, on purpose, compared to it's peers.

Aye mate - it’s absolutely scandalous how badly the club is ran.

The club lost all its football expertise when the stupid twats let Rafa walk away! Wankers.

Incredible how much I hate this cunt. I was at work today raging because of him. He has caused me so much anger these last 14 years. I always seem to carry some suppressed anger even on good days and I was always so chilled pre 2007 so I blame this cunt. He needs to go like. Causing a whole area and thousands of people anger and misery! It’s gone on long enough and we need to take it in our own hands to oust him or he will be here forever!

Battle lines need drawing, if anyone hates this cunt half as much as me and is half as sick of him then they won’t be setting foot in SJP. 0 attendance increases our chances of him going. We are at the point where anyone walking in SJP is fine with Ashley sticking around another week/month/year/decade. There needs to be a uprising post covid and serious action taken and I am the man do it I reckon. Get this fat odious wanker out finally. He shouldn’t be feeling safe for what he’s done to this city and club ffs

Aye we were at that point years ago. A bunch of us tried, everyone still went to the match. It's a lost cause. Soz.

Agreed. The time for uniting supporters to not attend has been and gone. Any dropping off when the ground opens up, will be natural and will happen over time, as long as Ashley stays. He will also know this.

Large scale boycotts will never happen with Newcastle supporters and never have done. See Spurs 2015, West Ham walk-in 2018, see cancellation of boycott v Wolves in 2018. See Leeds 1989, and all of the forlorn attempts of United Supporters for Change back then. Gates drop off with poor results and league positions a la 1978-1982 and 1988-1991. Same with every single club in this country tbh.

I saw that on Twitter, someone put that out. I thought it was a good touch and I do agree - would much rather watch dodgy streams and the like if I had to (even better, the watchalongs that Gallowgate Shots do I enjoy atm) than help fund mediocrity
