There was a whole commotion over who he'd represent in the Olympics as I recall, think he got some bad press over the whole thing with how he called off his marriage. All tabloids shite, people who actually watch golf generally like him.

Good to see Rory back playing well, yeah. People in Ireland hate him, mostly

Ancer never putts like this when I bet on him Nor does Rory, for that matter. What a run for Ancer this is.

Really enjoying the amateurs, the 17th is a stunning par three.

Boring answer but Augusta is definitely my favourite to watch the pros play. Just a perfect test for players of that level. I think a US or British Open when the course is dried out and playing firm and fast with a bit of wind about is my favourite type of event to watch. Unfortunately the weather rarely cooperates over here and the USGA inevitably botch the setup over there. Mickelson at Muirfield was the last time the Open played the way I like. Kiawah in a couple of weeks for the PGA could potentially be really good. Magnificent course, when McIlroy won l

I really hope the Ryder Cup is a tight contest this year, comes down to the last couple of holes in the last few matches in the singles. Whistling Straits is such a perfect Ryder Cup course, so many fun holes. Last three have been pretty dull affairs, by RC standards. All pretty comfortable wins. The ones in the 90s were incredible, all of them.

Watching a bit of the Walker Cup here. Ryder Cup for amateurs essentially, though only GB & Ireland for some reason. Cracking opening session, all four games going down 18. This course looks phenomenal though, proper American style links. Really a shame they don't want to host a major, I've heard people mention Seminole as one of the best courses in the US but this is the first time I've watched guys play it.

I have Finau, Hovland, Cink and Bubba this week. Finau is gone but hopefully one of the others can put a decent round together today and get in contention.

Yeah, couple of balls in the water and couldn't make any putts. His only birdie of the day was when he had a 15 footer for eagle and two-putted. Still only three behind but he'll definitely be disappointed. The guys who played late on Thursday and early on Friday really got the better end of the draw, wind was absolutely howling yesterday in the afternoon, really hurt the likes of Hovland and Thomas who looked like they'd be better placed. Still, only 8 shots between first and last after the cut. Anybody who made the cut will know a pair of 66s gives them a legit chance
  10. Ja'Wuan James, Broncos expected starting right tackle, did his ACL yesterday. Will be out for the season. Opted out last year. Played 63 snaps in '19. All this after signing a record breaking deal. Think it works out at a quarter of a million per snap Interesting (possibly only to me, admittedly) situation has arisen from it though. James was working out at the Broncos facility at the start of the off-season, then the NFLPA advised players to skip voluntary workouts. This meant he started working out at home, where the injury happened. James was really only still on the roster bec

Seems to not be absolutely killing his round with his driver. Not watching but looking at his shot tracker he's actually been good today. Rest of his game is still easily good enough to compete but he's just spent the last few years trying to hit the ball as far as he can at the expense of accuracy and it's killed him. Be nice if he got in contention at a US Open one last time. It'd be my favourite thing ever if he finally won one.
  12. Very much up for doing a 4 player league with you, Mike and Coco to annoy them all.
  13. I pass the Dennis role to you, Deuce. No more being Pondy for you, you're ready.
  14. I know more about the Nuggets than I ever have due to Broncos Twitter overlap. One day I might actually watch a game, you never know.
