Aye 2000 iso is a killer and still trying to master the noise and sharpening for wildlife in lightroom, so much easier on landscapes and portraits oh and B&W. DSC_2097 by Kris, on Flickr

We call them pixel peepers lol I found with the wildlife stuff a sharper image is a must compared to city/landscape stuff, reason why my D700 went the journey was not get anywhere near results I was happy with. Great camera but not for wildlife, the D7100 is much more suited but then using a 2x TC on my sigma 70-200mm was really softening the images but my Nikon 300mm f4 is razor sharp with the 1.4x TC on it, makes it a f5.6 not an f4 but the difference from what I had is just amazing. jackdaw by Kris, on Flickr jackdaw by Kris, on Flickr Jay by Kris, on Flickr Trying a new e

Hello bud Indeed you can spend all the money in the world on gear and still get a shit photo. Light rules all ate the end of the day, I can sit in a hide waiting for a Kingfisher with what cost be about £1300 next to blokes with great costing them over £6000 and if the light fks off we are all bumping to 2000 iso and having to rely on lightroom to save our images.
